This painting is from the Porttown series. The combination of angular structures and organic shapes, muted colors, and misty/rainy environment reflect the edge where port city meets water. This edge is a highly sought after by many consitutents: industry, national security, high priced condo developers, nature lovers, environmentalists, and the people and animals who have lived here for millenia.

This painting won First Prize in the 2019 Federation of Canadian Artists “Abstraction” exhibition.
